The professional house hunting business is well established in North America and in the U.K. but less so in continental Europe. Moreover, the vast majority of house hunting businesses established in France today are affiliated with French realtors. Their primary mission/business is to match the prospective buyer's criteria to the listings of affiliated realtors.

The Internet has provided the all important communication link between dislocated buyers and sellers, facilitating the search for international properties, but many continental European house hunters are, for all intent and purpose, extensions of their affiliated realtors.

FRBN by contrast provides a fully independent client-based service according to the following process:

• We work on a client/service provider basis, i.e., we submit a quote with the description of various tasks to be fulfilled on your behalf and our fees are inclusive of French VAT (19.60 %).
• Once quote is accepted, we will provide you with a listing, description and photos, if available, of properties best matching your initial search criteria located on the French Riviera.
• Upon your review of the initial search results, you have the option of either organizing a visit to France to inspect selected properties or, adjusting your criteria for a second search (at no additional charge) given your/our understanding of the current property market. Within 1 month, we would provide you with our findings from this second search.
• Upon your decision to personally inspect any of the properties of interest, we will work with you to schedule visits and organize accommodations.
• As stated above, FRBN is not affiliated with any realty agency in France.
  
• The specific legal requirements would be handled separately by Etude Notariale LEPLAT & Associés, Maître Patrick LEPLAT, Espace du Droit, 5 Av. Gambetta, 06600 Antibes.
